“Stepping into your Embodied Enoughness” is about moving from surviving to thriving! This twelve-week online training offers a new way of being grounded in ELI's four pillar - Somatic Sensibilities, Whole-Hearted Wisdom, Dynamic Discernment, and Luminous Living.
Lack of enoughness is a universal human experience that limits our ability to thrive. This happens via the four compulsions, illusions, and splits that characterize our lives as perfectly-imperfect humans.
First, the illusion that we have a consistent, unified, and concrete self. This illusion is rooted the mind/body split that fuels our compulsion to distract ourselves and avoid discomfort. When living from this space we are disconnected from our bodies.
Second, the illusion that we need to earn our self-worth. This illusion is rooted in the acceptable parts/unacceptable parts split that fuels our compulsion to earn, do, acquire, and consume. When living from this space we are disconnected from our heart.
Third, the illusion that dualistic thinking, experiencing, and being is the only, or right way, to engage the world and its beings. This illusion is rooted in the self/other and subject/object splits, which fuel our compulsion toward certainty, division, and simplistic answers to complex problems. When living from this space we are disconnected from our gut.
Fourth, the illusion of self-will. This illusion is rooted in life/death, human/divine, and material/spiritual splits, which fuel our compulsion to try to control people, places, and things (basically act as if we are Gods). When living from this space we are disconnected from our spirit.
ELI's four pillars (Somatic Sensibilities, Whole-Hearted Wisdom, Dynamic Discernment, and Luminous Living), engage our attachment to and preoccupation with these four illusions, splits, and compulsions. When we observe, acknowledge, and accept our perfectly-imperfect humanity (instead of acting as if we are perfect), we find our divine nature (inherent value and worth) and live into our Amber Glow.
